Granville Roosevelt Douglass, Jr., age 87, of West Grove, Pennsylvania, passed away on July 2, 2023, at Twin Pines Nursing Home in West Grove, PA. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Granville Douglass, Sr., and the late Pauline Richards Douglass.
Granville lived his whole life in Chester County, Pennsylvania. In his working years, he worked as a truck driver for a number of different companies.
Granville is survived by his son, Wayne Douglass of Chester, PA; one sister, Pauline Douglass Reynolds of Thomasville, NC; one niece, Meredith Reynolds of Florence, SC; one nephew, Douglass Scott Reynolds of Thomasville, NC; and one great-niece, Pearl B. Smith-Reynolds. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by one sister, Marilyn Douglass Steward; and one niece, Nancy Ann Steward.
Interment will be private.
